Canton Township, PA – September 19, 2011 – A 36 year old Pennsylvania man is facing aggravated assault charges after reportedly running his car into two repo men. The oldest was 72 years old.
David M. Jinkens, 36, of Berthel Avenue, Canton, will be charged by state police with aggravated assault and simple assault after he reportedly struck two men with his vehicle about 7:35 p.m. Monday.
Melvin Ralston Jr., 42, and Gary L. McKinney, 72, both of Washington, were trying to repossess Jinkens’ vehicle when he reportedly got into the vehicle and ran into the two men. Both men suffered leg injuries.
Charges will be filed against Jinkens at the office of District Judge David Mark.

If the car was being repoed, I think it’s fair to say, that the first thing that goes is Insurance. How unfortunate.
I hope he has good insurance!!!
Yep – It’s the older “original” repo guys that are the best! I should know! I am working with an 82 year old repo man – he comes in 4 days a week and still gets more results than the newer, younger guys!
If there is something positive about this, it’s that us old guys are still hanging in there even into our 70′s. Be smart and be safe guys…
