Developing World-Class Debt Collectors Collection Education Scholarships Available

cu_rcvryFOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Wyoming, MN March 10, 2015. Now in its fifth year, CU Recovery Collection Academy training represents a debt recovery strategy geared specifically towards reducing credit union delinquency, collection best practices as well as great networking opportunities. The 2.5 day Academy curriculum is formulated from attendee feedback on topics that are important to Credit Union collection departments. As the subject matters of concern become larger in scope, CU Recovery has reached beyond their internal experts to top-notch authorities speaking on highly relevant topics.

New for October 2015 will be a tiered scholarship program that will offer a free Academy tuition to 5 credit union staff members based on the submission of ideas developed by their credit union that had noticeable results or resulted in significant change to operational or employee morale conditions. Selected entries will become a part of the Peer to Peer discussion at the Academy

CU Recovery, views the future of training trending towards establishing resources that are member- focused and dedicated to supplying collectors with the working knowledge and skills that are needed, when they are needed.   And with studies continuing to show that workers learn best from one another, or from peers in the same industry, the value of the Collection Academy curriculum has increased exponentially.

According to Wendy Elieff, Vice President of Sales & Service for CU Recovery, “We are excited about the 2015 Collection Academy Peer to Peer discussion that will include Academy scholarship recipients sharing their successful entries and more in a Collection Best Practice Q & A.” She also points out that when collection staffs are able to relate to actual experiences and ask questions, it inspires them to develop new ideas.
