Shots Fired at Repo Men

smkng_gunMemphis, TN – February, 14, 2014 – Two Memphis Repo Men came under fire during a repossession.

According to police, on February 6, two unnamed Repo Men were attempting to repossess a 2000 Saturn from an apartment in the Frayser area. According to police, Ladarius Jefferson came out and began arguing with one of the repo men and then went back inside momentarily until emerging with a gun. Jefferson allegedly fired several shots at the tow truck as the agents attempted their flight to safety.

Then, reportedly as the Repo Men in the tow truck neared the apartment complex exit, a second man, Kristopher King, 24, opened fire on them as well according to police. No one was injured in the shooting.jffrson

kingKristopher King, 24, was arrested and charged with two counts of attempted second-degree murder and using a firearm during a felony. He is being held in the Shelby County Jail. Police have issued a warrant for the arrest of Ladarius Jefferson in the incident, but he remains on the loose.
