NARS Becomes First Industry Event to Feature the CFPB

IRVING, Texas – Feb. 6, 2014 – The North American Repossessors Summit (NARS), an industry event hosted by the American Recovery Association, Inc. (ARA) and Time Finance Adjusters (TFA), is proud to announce that a member from the southwest region of the CFPB is scheduled to speak at the sixth annual event, to be held March 20-22, 2014.

This is the first time a CFPB representative will serve as a key speaker at a recovery and remarketing industry event. In his own words, the representative will explain any misconceptions regarding the CFPB’s involvement within the recovery industry. It will be a very informative and empowering session.

I must be getting old and unreasonable. I just read that insult of a contract offered by PRA. $250.00 for assigning accounts? I know several other forwarders are paying $320.00 or better for first placement Toyota. In fact I work for one. A demerit point system? Welcome back to the first grade kids. Further reading will show their back-charge fee schedule. $500.00 for a wrongful repo?

And the Winner is…

Congratulations to Kevin Camping from Phoenix Arizona!

Kevin won the Dynamic Slide-In Unit donated to the Recovery Agents Benefit Fund by Anthony Gentile of Dynamic Manufacturing in Chesapeake, VA.  Ticket sales were held at industry meetings throughout the year and the winner was drawn at the CALR Convention held at the Knott’s Berry Farm Hotel late last month.  Through Dynamic’s generous donation of the Slide-In unit, over $20,000 was raised for the RABF from raffle ticket sales!
