Prison Term of Repo Man Killer Reduced

Fauquier County, VA – 28 February, 2017 – The Virginia Court of Appeals today reversed a portion of the conviction of a Marshall man who shot and killed 23 year old Junior Jordan Montero while he was repossessing his car in June 2014.

Carroll Edward “Tootie” Gregg, 55, of Marshall, was found guilty of two involuntary manslaughter charges, one statutory and one common law, after a five-day jury trial in September 2015.

Parole for Repo Killer Deferred for Five Years


Denver, CO – January 20, 0216 – A jury sentenced Robert Willner, 64, to life in prison for first-degree murder almost 25 years ago after he had killed a repo man who had come to take his car.

Former Gov. Bill Ritter commuted that sentence in 2011.

On Tuesday, for the first time, Willner appeared before a parole board to have his case heard, and the family of the man who was killed begged for justice.

Details in TX Repo Murder Released, Suspect Apprehended


The arrest affidavit states, for the first time publicly, that Muhammad called emergency services before the shooting to complain about someone trying to repossess his Chevrolet Malibu at Acacia Apartments, 4775 Oakwood Drive.

Dispatchers reported hearing Muhammad say, “Why didn’t you let me get my stuff?” to another person before the line disconnected. At 10:48 p.m., about five minutes later, another caller reported hearing about a dozen gunshots.

Repo Man Murder Trial to Begin Next Week

tootoe_jailFauquier County, VA – September 15, 2015 – A former cellmate will testify next week in the trial of a Marshall man charged with murdering 23 year old Repo Man, Junior Jordan Montero, who tried to repossess his truck last year on June 6, 2014.

Carroll Edward “Tootie” Gregg Jr., a 53 years old landscaper, will stand trial Sept. 21-25 in Fauquier County Circuit Court for First-degree murder, shooting into an occupied vehicle resulting in death and use of a firearm to commit a felony which could result in a Life sentence.
