KY Repo Man Threatened and Beaten at Gunpoint

Hopkinsville , KY – 14 July 2017 – Two Hopkinsville residents were arrested Wednesday after they reportedly assaulted and held a gun on a man trying to legally repossess a vehicle.

According to Hopkinsville Police, 22-year old Daron McGregory and 46-year old Sheronda McGregory were charged with 1st Degree Wanton Endangerment, 4th Degree Assault Causing Minor Injury, and 3rd Degree Terroristic Threatening.

According to an arrest warrant, the victim went to McGregory’s residence with the proper paperwork to repossess a vehicle. After he hooked the vehicle to his truck, he went to the door to inform Sheronda McGregory that he was taking the vehicle and she could get any personal property out of it.

The warrants states that Sheronda told the victim “you are not taking my car and we will shoot you”, at which time, Daron McGregory came around the corner and pointed a 9mm handgun at the victim.

Sharonda reportedly punched the victim in the face and Daron continued to point the gun at the victim while Sheronda ran to the victim’s truck and attempted to operate his lift equipment.
