Repo Man Charged with Trespassing and Harassment

handcuffs1Pendelton, NY – January 2, 2016 – A Repo Man attempting to repossess a vehicle on a Robinson Road property was charged early Thursday morning with third-degree criminal trespassing and second-degree harassment.

According to the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office, James L. Frost, 27, had attempted to gain entry to a horse barn at 6110 Robinson Road “by driving his repo truck into a gate and garage door.”

The arrest report states that Frost stuck the homeowner with his truck when he stood in the way of the gate and door.

Frost told patrol that he had a valid repossession order and was attempting to go into the barn to get the truck, adding that “he did not see the gate that was blocking the open door.”

The homeowner said that the barn door was closed and locked from the inside prior to Frost’s arrival and it appears Frost “entered the barn to unlock the barn door.”

Frost was charged and issued an appearance ticket for Jan. 13.

The homeowner was not injured and there was no damage to the barn door or gate.
