Financial Services Industry Vet to Manage Recovery Services Division

Smith has joined the company as its new Recovery Services department lead effective immediately.

In this role, Shawn will oversee ROA’s industry leading recovery service capabilities, including repossession, skip tracing, license plate recognition, claims processing, field contact, legal services and customer care. Shawn’s responsibilities will include oversight for these and all other aspects of ROA’s recovery services and business processes.

  1. Once again, another forwarder hires a key executive with little or no repossession background. Its pathetic. The press release states Remarketing Of America is “a provider” of recovery services. But this is not true. ROA manages the recovery assignment by forwarding the assignment to a repossession company. More often than not, based on lower fees rather than quality of service. ROA is a middleman who provides a revenue sharing program with the repossession company. It’s “two for them, one for us” as they saw. Nothing personal Mr White, but Mortgage banking and the automobile repossession business is clearly miles apart. Public safety is in danger as long as Mr. Forwarder controls the market. This year the truth will be brought to the surface.
