Repossessing a van from an apartment complex in broad daylight isn’t usually a big deal, but when the entire neighborhood is milling about with nothing better to do all day, it’s a whole different ball game as this Repo Man experiences.
Kids, don’t try this at home! What more can I say? Every once in a while, a video surfaces showing the extremes debtors will go through to get their cars, trucks or SUV’s off of a repossessors wheel lift. This one, in an unknown location and unknown participants, goes almost vertical as the front bumper shroud is pressed to the ground while the, assumed, borrower guns the gas a twists the steering wheels in a vain effort to flee.
You have just backed your tow truck up to the vehicle to be repossessed when the debtor runs out of his house yelling and cursing and telling you to get the hell away from HIS vehicle, or “Hell no you aren’t taking MY car, or, “Get the hell off my property” or, (while holding a large knife), “Stay the hell away from MY Harley” or, “If you try to take MY car I will shoot you.”
What “power” do you have in such situations?
