TN Repo Man Facing Charges

Lauderdale County, TN – April 2, 2012 – A Colbert County Repo Man Could is facing charges of third-degree burglary and harassment as the result of his alleged breaches of the peace in the process of attempting to repossess a car from a woman and her daughter he reportedly broke into a garage, slashed the car’s tires and shoved the borrowers. Additional charges may be filed by a Grand Jury when presented.

41 year old Harold Shane Johnson, 41, of Tuscumbia, TN is accused of breaking into a residence on Lauderdale 15 to try and repossess a car that was parked there.

The police report states that the borrower claims that Johnson broke into the garage and when the 50 year old woman ordered him to leave, Johnson cut the front tires on her car.

“The homeowner’s daughter, who had the car, came out and was trying to get some personal items out of the car when Johnson grabbed her, pulled her out of the car and pushed her away,” An Investigator said.

Johnson was taken into custody and later released from the Lauderdale County Detention Center on bail of $2,000.
