2020, Good Riddance, On to 2021

EDITORIAL

Mere hours remain to the end of a year that has brought upon this world so much death, destruction and despair. Despite all of this, we stand, alive and resilient in the face of the pestilence which has taken far too many. While so many and so much has been lost, our presence in the final hours of this year pays testament to the enduring strength of the human soul. The tenacity and character that we have been forced to endure will carry with us forever more.

What lies ahead for our nation and the world in 2021 is still unwritten. But we carry into it an inner strength that we were either unaware of or were lacking at this time last year. For all of the curses laid upon us through 2020, we are all stronger now than we were then. While this pandemic is far from over, we will all remember it for the rest of our lives and may they be long and happy ones.

So here’s to 2021 and the unknown that it represents. May the clouds of fear and discontent recede in this year and deliver us unto the future. Braver, stronger and wiser than in any other year, may we forge ahead together into the unknown, chins up and hearts open.

Thank you all from the bottom of my heart. I look forward to seeing so many of you once again, I’ve missed you. May God bless you and you loved ones in 2021 and for many years to come.

Happy New Year!

Kevin
