Consumers Have Rights, But What About Credit Unions?

CU Repossession & Remarketing Summit 2018

Atlanta, GA

May 23rd and 24th, 2018

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

As Credit Union lenders and collectors, much focus is placed on protecting consumer rights, and rightfully so. But Lenders have rights as well, that are rarely discussed. Come learn how to protect your credit unions rights as a creditor, the good name of your brand, and of course, the members you serve.

Bankruptcy and litigation law practices and tactics vary dramatically from state to state and region to region. With that in mind, we have two esteemed and experienced attorneys from two different law firms on our agenda to discuss legal issues and tactics specifically relevant to the southeast.

Andrew Horowitz, partner with the law firm of Drew Eckl & Farnham, LLP, who specializes in general tort and insurance litigation, will be presenting with attorney Stephen Block, a graduate of Emory Law School who has served in the state of Mississippi State Legislature’s Performance Evaluation and Expenditure Review (PEER) Committee and interned at the Georgia Attorney General’s Office before becoming a clerk at the Georgia State Court of Appeals. Since 1980 he joined a boutique law firm that represents automobile finance companies, auto dealers and financial institutions in state and federal court including repossession actions and secured creditor bankruptcy representation.

Look through our speaker biographies and you will see a lineup of some of the most experienced and knowledgeable repossession, remarketing, skip tracing and collections related experts in the world.

If you haven’t already signed up, please join us for our CU Repossession & Remarketing Summit 2018 on May 23rd and 24th, 2018, from 9;00am-5:00pm in Atlanta, GA at the new Renaissance Atlanta Airport Gateway Hotel. Our special block of rooms is almost full, but we expect that we should be able to acquire more.
