What is the strangest thing you have repossessed?

The few that come to mind : Abrasive blasting recycle system. Basically it is equipment used to blast paint off suspension bridges. It was a couple of large pieces including hazardous materials vacuums. We have also done sandwich shop equipment (ovens, display cases , meat slicers) a body shop spray booth, liposuction machines and x-ray machines from a vets office.

We specialize in recovering boats/yachts, heavy trucks, construction / farm equipment, high end/classic vehicles as well as office, medical and restaurant equipment (pretty much anything you can take a loan on) Our 4.5 acre paved facility centrally located in West Babylon NY is one of the largest in the area, we can safely and securely house well over 500 vehicles.

What is the strangest repo story you can share?

While repossessing a vehicle once a debtor jumped out of his second story window naked while wielding a machete landing on the top of the car we were hooked to. Luckily I was able to calm him down and no one was hurt. We have also recovered several vehicles that have had cremated ashes inside the trunk
