Tuscaloosa County, AL – May 27, 2015 – 61-year-old Charles Howard is facing attempted murder charge after Tuscaloosa investigators say he shot at a Repo Man who was attempting to repossess his camper trailer Tuesday evening in the Elrod community.
Tuscaloosa County Metro Homicide investigators say an unnamed Repo Man, 64, attempted to repossess Charles Howard’s trailer when Howard confronted him on Plowman Road. Howard allegedly shot into the vehicle of the man doing the repossession.
Police Investigators report that the Repo Man got his gun and returned fire.
Howard was hit in the shoulder. He was treated and released at a local hospital. Authorities arrested him for attempted murder and discharging a firearm into an occupied vehicle.
He was placed in the Tuscaloosa County jail on $55,000 bond.
