Oxford, AL – June 11, 2013 – A 55 year old Repo Man was punched and stabbed by a Talladega woman during a repossession attempt that went wrong.
Oxford Police were called to a carwash at about 8:30PM on Tuesday the 11th and arrived to find a Repo Man who had been stabbed in the leg with an unidentified object.
The Repo Man reported to officers that a woman, identified as 42 year old Cheri Scott of Talladega punched him in the face several times and stabbed him in the leg after he made a failed attempt to repossess her 2002 Jeep Liberty.
Police reported that the man’s right leg was bleeding heavily from two puncture wounds, but he refused medical treatment.
Scott was taken into custody at the scene, however the weapon was not recovered.
She was released from the Oxford City Jail Wednesday on a $3,000 bond, and has a court date of July 1st.
