Daytona Beach, FL – April 24, 2013 – Despite doing the smart thing and trying to leave when a pissed off Victoria Higgins came out of her house with a .22 caliber rifle, they came under fire.
At approximately 1:30 p.m., two Repo Men from Florida Recovery Systems arrived at the residence of Victoria Higgins’ and backed their tow truck into the driveway in a very basic repossession attempt when Higgins came charging out the front door brandishing a .22 caliber bolt-action rifle.
According to the police affidavit, Higgins demanded that the two men to leave her property before pointing the rifle directly at one of the men. The two men reportedly returned to their tow truck and exited the driveway, but before the second man could get inside the vehicle, Higgins fired a shot in the ground near both of the men, according to the affidavit.
Police report that Higgins then left in the Mustang and was soon found walking towards a local intersection. The car and the rifle were later found at her mother-in-law’s house.
Higgins was arrested on two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and sent to the Flagler County Inmate Facility where she is being held on $10,000 bond.
