Connecting Tow Companies, Lien Holders and Insurers During CV19

Paying tow and storage providers and ensuring lien holders get notifications

Its safe to say that unrealized revenue is unique during COVID-19.

eImpound.com and Locator Technologies are now:

  • Paying tow and storage providers per VIN for tow information
  • Providing electronic notification to lien holders about towing and storage
  • Providing lien holder and registered owner information to 4,500 plus users at eImpound.com

With COVID-19 and the shutdowns occurring, an all-electronic process means there is no interruption in processing impounds and identifying and notifying lien holders. Lien holders are still notified electronically. That means towing and storage providers have a better chance of getting paid by the lien holder and the vehicle getting retrieved, whether the mail system is working or not. If no one is around to send or receive the letter, electronic notification is more important than ever.

It seems clear to us that during this time and once this is all over, automation and electronic and more efficient processing will be the way forward with snail mail problems, notification, lien holder and owner documentation and more.

On top of that, eImpound and Locator Technologies are paying towing and storage providers $1.00 per VIN submitted at eImpound.com, if there is a lien holder match in our internal lien holder database. We are also paying $0.10 per VIN for all tows submitted, even if there’s no match in our internal lien holder database. Details on how to get paid are available at www.eimpound.com. You can also email john@eimpound.com with questions.

All while ensuring lien holders are receiving electronic notifications about towing and storage at www.LocatorTechnologies.com and www.AutomobileMonitor.com!
