CUCollector is Changing, Moving and Expanding!

After 8 years of reporting repossession industry news and information under the name CUCollector.com, we are making some major changes.

On July 3rd, we launched CURepossession. This new site will contain all of the old materials, news, editorials and more, while CUCollector, will focus on credit union collections and industry news as well as many more informational items and of course, perhaps some topics considered otherwise, too edgy for the mainstream credit union news industry.

There will be easy to find links to CURepossession on CUCollector and visa versa. The two sites will be very similar in look and feel except CUCollector, will be changing it’s colors to Blue, while CURepossession will maintain the traditional red.

We hope not to cause too much confusion and hope to provide a more relevant news portal and resource for the credit union and collections industry while not forgetting the repossession industry which has been the heart and soul of CUCollector for 8 years.

CUCollector was initially created as a resource for news for credit union, bank and all loan collectors. Prior credit union employment by it’s Editor, Kevin Armstrong, had prohibited the publishing of materials that could harm the credit union image and disallowed sponsored content or vendor advertising that could be deemed a conflict of interests.

Being of few advertising opportunities remaining under the original material content, I adjusted the focus to the repossession industry. Since the adjustment in content, that name, CUCollector, has become a major source for repossession industry news and information, but is something of an odd name and a misnomer considering it’s high volume of repossession related materials.

PLEASE! Refer your credit union and collections clients to the NEW CUCollector! We promise to do for the collections community what we’ve done for the repossession industry.

Currently running advertisements will remain on both sites for 30 days or until removed by mutual agreement or our sponsors deem they wish to remain with one or the other. The change in content will also offer great opportunities for repossession agencies and collections service providers to advertise their services to just the market they desire.

Please contact us direct at Editor@cucollector.com if you have any questions, would like to submit editorials, press releases, educational materials or are interested in advertising.

Thank you

CUCollector
