Planning Committee Expands To Help Meet the Demands of the Fast-Growing Summit and the Need for Industry Unification
Dallas, TX – June 24, 2013, American Recovery Association, Inc. (ARA), the world’s largest association of recovery and remarketing professionals, today announced the 2014 North American Repossessors Summit (NARS) planning committee will be comprised of leaders from various state and national industry trade associations resulting in NARS 2014 being hosted by the different industry trade associations that want to participate.
An announcement was made by Mary Jane Hogan, president of ARA, at NARS 2013, inviting one to two representatives from every industry state and national trade association to join the 2014 planning committee. Since then, representatives from the 2013 planning committee have reached out to industry association leaders to finalize the details and obtain commitments of those who want and are able to contribute.
“Planning the 2-day summit and golf tournament takes a dedicated team of seasoned industry professionals,” said Art Christensen, NARS planning committee chairman. “We understand the dedication and commitment it takes to participate on the planning committee and are excited to have leaders from many of the trade associations joining together to help ensure NARS continues to be a place for industry unification.”
Dates and a call for speakers for NARS 2014 are expected in July. This year’s event attracted more than 430 attendees and featured speakers discussed the impacts of the new compliance laws and focused on how to continue to be successful in this industry through the Power of Performance – Standing Out Through Analytics, Compliance, and Education.
