State Legislation Allowing for No Cost Electronic Lien and Tow Notification

Certified electronic notification to lien holders already helps but can put it into law!

Would you and/or your towing association be interested in passing a state law allowing for easy and no cost electronic notification along with or instead of mail notification to lien holders?

We have told you that eImpound now allows users to send notification letters, documents, forms, pictures, and more to lien holders electronically, along with already providing lien holder and registered owner information to its 5,000 plus towing and storage provider users – ALL AT NO COST! It also pays towing companies at the end of the month based on VINs submitted.

It shows that the notification letter has been sent, received, viewed, and/or responded to by the lien holder as well, which should satisfy the requirement in most states of notification being sent and tracked to make sure it was received by the lien holder. Lien holders also have the ability to respond electronically to eImpound users with documents, call them, or email them back. Many users and lien holders / lenders have been utilizing the service, and its been great!

With that said, we’d like to have it placed into state laws across the country that towing and storage providers can use certified and proven electronic notification along with or instead of mail notification.

Why? Its no cost, fast, and easy. Its 2021. You can buy a house, car, and more electronically. Why can’t we notify lien holders electronically about a towed or stored vehicle, and do it in a way that be traceable, certified, and proven.
