On June 2, 2020, CUCollector posted an article titled “Nevada Extends Collection Agency and Repossession Moratorium until June 30.” There was initially some confusion in the State of Nevada in regards to the application of the state’s collections moratorium announced on March 20, 2020 and it’s pertinence to repossession agencies. Repossession industry professionals reached out to their regulating body, the Nevada Private Investigators Licensing Board, and were advised by Kevin Ingram, the Executive Director. Ingram informed at that time, that there had been no determination made regarding any formal action by the Board to involve itself in the matter.
